Pulsar
2000 is the most powerful femtosecond amplifier available today, with
a peak power of 20TW. This laser offers excellent beam characteristics
(beam profile, M2, contrast, stable peak power) in a compact package.
This makes it an ideal tool for high field physics experiments (X-ray
generation, electron acceleration…).
The
modular design of the laser allows simple daily operation, as well as
time-shared used of the beam between different experiments. The Pulsar
2000 is the result of more than 10 years of experience in the design of
high energy lasers by Amplitude Technologies's team.
Many
accessories and options are available to further simplify the daily operation
of the system: interactive remote monitor, phase controller, single shot
